I consider myself fortunate to have been selected for the Citizen Police Academy and the subsequent privilege to serve as a volunteer with the League City Police for three years. It provided an opportunity for me to meet and work with other volunteers, city employees, and especially the officers. I found the officers to be well educated, professional in exercising their duties, and guess what... human as well. Yep, they are real people who have chosen to dedicate their lives to serving our community. They deserve our help.
